Our Doctor

​​​​​Dr. Amro Habib, O.D. is the founder and owner of Marana EyeCare. He has spent most of his childhood growing up in West Covina, CA. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Mechanical Engineering in 1995 at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Habib pursued his passion and received his Optometric Degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in Yorba Linda, CA in 2001. Dr. Habib continued a year of residency from 2001 to 2002 at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System at the Blind Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Habib has 15 years’ experience working with the public from doing routine eye exams to prepping his patients for LASIK eye surgery or referring high-risk patients to his fellow Ophthalmologists.

Dr. Habib has been a Tucson resident now for 15 years with his wife and 2 children. Dr. Habib is also an active participant in the Southern Arizona Optometric Society where he held a treasurer position for eight years. He was also an active participant in the Marana Chamber of Commerce and holds a high regard for the community of Marana.

His hobbies are conserving the environment by going solar and spending a lot of time by the pool with his children who swim competitively. He also has a love for fast cars. Dr. Habib spends a good amount of time talking and getting to know his patients and in return, his patients get that quality time they deserve from their Optometrist.
